Tattoo Art

A tattoo is a form of body modification, made by inserting indelible ink into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment. Tattooing involves the placement of pigment into the skin’s dermis, the layer of dermal tissue underlying the epidermis. After initial injection, the pigment is dispersed throughout a homogenized damaged layer down through the epidermis and upper dermis, in both of which the presence of foreign material activates the immune system’s phagocytes to engulf the pigment particles.
At the chapel, Kendall, we have different tattoo artists from Diddles, Danny, Barba, Jay, Ramon. These are all artists liable in their fields.

Piercing/Micro Dermal

A dermal or micro-dermal piercing is a piercing made into any flat area of the body, with an anchor placed under the skin that various decorative attachments can be put into. This type of piercing is done to replicate the look of a trans-dermal implant without the surgery sometimes involved in the procedure. Dermal piercings are performed using a needle that opens a place in the skin for the anchor to be inserted into. These are sometimes called single-point piercings because they have no exit like most regular piercings. The holes for the anchors can also be made using a dermal punch. These types of piercings can take anywhere between 1 to 3 months to heal. There are different kinds of piercing; belly button piercing, tragus piercing which is a piercing on the small flap of cartilage in the ear that extends out in front of the ear canal and is located above the ear lobe. This piercing is typically not very painful due to a lack of nerves but is likely to bleed. Also, we have the wrist piercing which a surface piercing, typically is done with a surface bar, on the wrist. Also, lip piercing is done on the lips; tongue piercing, back piercing and all. All this is also done in the chapel in Kendall location.

Body Art / Sleeves

Tattoo sleeves are defined as a large tattoo or a bunch of small random designs that when placed together cover most of the arm. A serious and committing tattoo style, sleeves start at the shoulder and continue down, usually carrying a centralized theme. While sleeve tattoos continue to rise in popularity, especially among women, you should always consider the following before opting for a full arm of art. When you opt for a sleeve tattoo, you have several considerations. Do you want your whole arm covered in tattoos, or just half or a quarter sleeve? Your tattoo artist can help you best decide on the scale and placement of your sleeve tattoo. Tattoo sleeves often look their best colorful. Whether you opt for traditional old school tattoos, mermaid, or pin-up.
